The Polar Express
The correct time for this script is 8 seconds
This is a story for children, so you have to slow down and use your number 5 voice. Your voice has a range from 1 – 10. Using your number 5 voice is another element of the course.
Castle Cement
The correct time for this script is 38-40 seconds
This is much more down to earth – it’s a corporate narration. You are talking to business people and need to sound authoritative. You may be reading a script or talking about a technical subject. You have to sound like an expert and use your number 10 voice.
Chocolate Heaven
The correct time for this script is 24-26 seconds
This is about a very expensive box of chocolates and needs to be delivered in a rather sexy way: soft voice and very slow.
Perhaps you would like to go back to the scriptsand try again to see if you can improve; but remember, don’t cheat by putting gaps between the words!
